Farmers Equipment Company is a full-line dealership of Komatsu and Genie material handling equipment with locations in both Lynden and Burlington. We currently have an opening for a Service Technician at our Lynden location.

Primary responsibilities include preventive maintenance and repair of equipment in our Material Handling Division.

Minimum requirements include: strong mechanical aptitude, previous applicable experience, competency in computer-based troubleshooting, repair of engines, electronic fuel systems, transmissions, hydraulics and brakes, ability to work effectively both individually and with a team of technicians, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Additional requirements include a clear driving record, proven dependability, experience in supporting a service department, outstanding customer service skills and strong detail orientation. No prior material handling experience required.

Requirements:

� Minimum three years� experience maintaining and repairing material handling equipment
� Competency in computer-based troubleshooting, repair of engines, electronic fuel systems, transmissions, hydraulics and brakes

� Excellent organizational and communication skills

� Previous experience in supporting a service department

� Hyster experience strongly preferred

Farmers Equipment Company is a full-service agricultural and material handling equipment dealership with locations in both Lynden and Burlington, representing Case IH, Branson, Komatsu, Krone, Oxbo and more. We currently have an opening for a Parts Counter Specialist to serve customers at our Lynden location.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Serving both external and internal customers at the parts counter and by phone
• Researching customer requests for items in manual parts catalogs and electronically
• Ordering parts, invoicing customers, coordinating shipment of parts
• Processing credits, returns and receiving stock orders
• Maintaining stock levels of product lines and pricing of parts as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements include:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven customer service skills
• Strong detail orientation
• Directly applicable experience preferred
• Ability to successfully operate computer; previous experience with DIS/Keystone system preferred
