The Kuhn AXIS 50.2 H-EMC-W fertilizer spreader provides operators with high flow rates, precise material flow, and accurate spreading for more profit.
These machines are designed for precise spreading without the need for manual adjustments. The listed machines come standard with ISOBUS technology. This allows for direct integration of spreading maps into the ISOBUS terminal. The weighing system on select models provides full range accuracy allowing you to be confident in knowing how much you are spreading. All these features come together to make a hardworking, long lasting machine.
Two weigh cells in cooperation with the electronic terminal allow adaptation of the application rate automatically while spreading. Every second the terminal checks if the flow corresponds to the programmed rate and adjusts it for precision and control of the machine.
CDA: Unrivaled Accuracy
There are two important features that make the CDA (Coaxial Distribution Adjustment®) system unique:
- The pivoting hopper base enables quick adaptation to various fertilizers and working widths by adjusting the drop point of the fertilizer onto the spreading discs.
- Specially designed metering outlets close to the center of the discs allow multiple supply points to the paddles. This helps ensure constant fertilizer flow and an even spread pattern.
Hydraulic Disc Drive
The discs, driven by the tractor’s hydraulic system, are independent of the engine as well as PTO speed. As a result, their spread pattern remains constant and can be adjusted when driving to field points. Spreading with reduced engine speed is possible, which decreases overall fuel consumption
EMC: Independent Disc by Disc
Electronic Mass Flow Control (EMC) is a unique technology, well-established and proven after years of experience. It uses a specially designed torsional sensor to precisely meter application rate. No calibrations are necessary with this system, an operator can achieve less than 1% deviation from the desired rate.
This feature helps the Axis to maintain the proper working width by changing either the drop point or spreading disc speed. With a unique system like this the spreader can be easily adjusted to minimize overspreading. Eight total sections are available for maximum control.
