Farmers Equipment Company is a full-service agricultural and material handling equipment dealer with locations in both Lynden and Burlington. We currently have an opening for a Temporary Yard Assistant to work full time through the summer at our Burlington location, supporting our Sales, Service and Parts Departments.
Primary responsibilities include:
ï¿½ Maintain the yard, warehouses, and other designated spaces in an orderly manner
ï¿½ Support the shop by maintaining a clean and organized environment including emptying waste and recycling receptacles
ï¿½ Maintain adequate supply of fuel containers
ï¿½ Process Equipment Rental Returns including cleaning and coordinating preventive maintenance
ï¿½ Perform cleaning and detailing of equipment
ï¿½ Keep all wash bays clean and free of debris
ï¿½ Assist Sales Department in moving and organizing equipment as needed
ï¿½ Coordinate maintenance of grounds
ï¿½ Assist with shipping and receiving duties
The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting a service department, outstanding customer service and communication skills, the ability to effectively multi-task, strong detail orientation, clear driving record with valid WA driverï¿½s license, and proven dependability.
This is a temporary summertime position, expected to last up to 14 weeks.
